Our products are eligible for tax-free purchases.

Conditions for tax exemption

• Non-resident foreign nationals are eligible.
• Residence Status such as "Temporary Visitor", "Diplomat" or "Official" are eligible.
• Foreign travelers are NOT eligible for the tax-free service if they work at a business establishment in Japan.
• Please bring your original passport document.

Notice Regarding Tax-Free Shopping (Effective November 1, 2026)

Beginning November 1, 2026, our tax-free procedure will transition to a refund-based system in accordance with updated regulations in Japan.

For gowns delivered on or after November 1, 2026, the following process will apply:

• Full payment, including Japanese consumption tax, will be required at the time of purchase in our boutique.
• Tax exemption eligibility will be determined at your departure point from Japan (such as the airport).
• Upon confirmation, the equivalent amount of the consumption tax will be refunded accordingly.

We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation regarding this updated procedure.

Should you have any questions about tax-free eligibility or the refund process, our team will be pleased to assist you.

Payment methods

• We accept all major credit cards and payment by cash in local currency only.
• Full payment will required at the time of signing the purchase agreement.

From signing the purchase agreement to handover

Custom orders

• Dress will be delivered to VERA WANG GINZA flagship store approximately 4 months after signing the purchase agreement.
• Your purchase will be available for collection after undergoing quality checks at the store.
• If any alterations or adjustments are desired, a second fitting will be scheduled approximately 2 weeks later.

Available in store

• Items available in store will be ready for collection within 24 hours.
• Purchases made before noon can be collected the same day.

Packing of dresses

• A carry-on garment bag is available for ¥6,500 + tax.

Please note that VERA WANG GINZA flagship store only carries US 4 sample dresses for fitting. We apologize if this causes any inconvenience.
All dresses and accessories need to be received at a store where the purchase agreement was signed.
